Green with Envy...

I got to spend my afternoon taking pictures of this sweet little thing.  LOVE this hair!!!  Now I am officially very behind on editing pictures.  I processed this picture becasue it went with the theme 365 day group that I try to participate in (stressing the word TRY).  I had to stop myself because I have to finish up the last of my senior sessions from last weekend and then my session from yesterday.  But here is the one that I processed...  Isn't she ADORABLE???

Just one Picture of 7 day old Sweetness...

I got to meet this awesome family last month when I did mom's maternity pictures.  Their little 2 year old is ecstatic to be a big sister.  I was lucky enough today to get to meet this sweet 7 day old baby.  But, being as I had to come home to get ready for a birthday dinner for my favorite 4 year old princess and I am one tired pregnant lady, tonight is just a tease.  Just one picture is edited to show this baby girl's sweetness.

This weeks theme: Night Images

I missed Sunday...  But I did get out and take a night picture last night.  The hopping metropolis of Maple Valley!

New Gallery on the Blogsite

Check it out HERE.  After all of the crouching and climbing yesterday, my legs feel like they have had a major workout, but it was worth it.  I now have a teen gallery on the blogsite.  I am so thankful for everyone who came out yesterday.  They were such great kids and luckily for me, everyone was so photogenic.  For those of you who paricipated, it is going to take me a little longer to get the rest of the photos edited, but I was so excited to share these.  I hope you guys enjoy them!

Worn Out After an Awesome Day!!!

It was a long day for this very pregnant lady, but I got some great shots and met some amazing kids!  I was so incredibly impressed by how nice and polite all of the teens I worked with today were.  It made for a fun day.  I hate to totally just tease everyone with just one image...  but, it is all I can get to until later this evening.

This week.... Perspective

I am having a hard time keeping up with things.  I have been taking the 365 day picture... well, most of the time.  Here are some of the recent pictures.  I am not terrible happy with my interpretation of the theme, but I am taking pictures.

Excited about Next Saturday!

We went out this morning to test out a location to use for next Saturday's Senior Style casting call.  LOVE IT!!!    There are so many options for several different looks all at the same place.  My oldest was a trooper, but the 10 year old really wasn't crazy about playing model this morning.  Despite it all, we got some great shots!

I am off to go sell girlscout cookies, but I will contact everyone about next Saturday this evening.

***Reminder about the Casting Call***

I just wanted to remind everyone that I am looking for 15-17 year olds to participate in some Senior style mini sessions on Saturday May 20th.  Details are on the facebook page.  I will be making the decision on Saturday.  If you are interested, just post on the FB page and I will contact you through that.

This weeks theme: Something Old

I have been bad about posting this weeks 365day pictures on my blog.  Here are the last 3 days.  I don't have a lot of really cool old stuff and I tend to take my pictures during nap time so I can't venture out anywhere.  Several people have taken pictures of cool old cars.  Although by most definitions our cars are old, they aren't the cool kind of old.

3/6/10 Colour Accents

It was a busy, day and this one turned a little more abstract than I was planning.

Today's for the critique thread

Today my oldest was in her school's production of Cinderella.  They encouraged the little girls to dress up like princesses and had a princess parade across the stage before the play began.  When I went to take a picture of the 4 year old, I realized that I had forgotten to replace my flash card.  So, when we got home we had to take a couple of pictures.

3/4/10 Colour Accents

So this didn't quite fit the theme.  It is much more of a colorful accent than a color accent.  It is still kinda cute...  and taken today.

The Belly and the Beast

A little self portrait.  I tried to get this kind of shot with my maternity session on Saturday, but I think that her little girl was a little too old (longer legs) and I was too self conscious to take a ton of pictures tweaking between each one.  This is a self portrait, so I wasn't too concerned about what the subject thought.  My almost 2 year old's legs are almost too long, but I think that they just make it.

3/3/10 Colour Accent

The ever so popular color accent here in the Pacific Northwest...  MOSS!!!  I LOVE taking pictures of moss.  Weird, I know.  I haven't done very much of it with my macro lens, but here goes.

3/2/10 Colour Accents

I sure hope we don't have anymore freezes or anything, because my plants definitely think that it is spring.  My picture for today...

Just my girl....

I am taking part of an exercise on the forum where you post 2 pictures a day for some intense critique.  These are pictures I took yesterday afternoon for today's post.

3/1/10 Colour Accent

Don't you just love "colour"?  We have a bunch of Aussies on the board.  The kids found the stash of plastic eggs and now they are strewn all through out the house, but it inspired me for my picture of the day.

Expecting a Little Sister!

In part of my crazy Saturday, I got the privilege of taking some pictures of this family who is anxiously awaiting little girl #2.  The weather unexpectedly held out for us and we were able to get some shots at a great little waterfront beach.  I would have been content to hang around  a little longer and get some more shots at the waterfront, but I was late for my date to sell girl scout cookies.
